My painting...

My painting technique is mainly based on my own research, which concerns the relationship between color and light. I experiment in the field of composition. In my research as a painter, I base my work on scientific publications dealing with the theory of painting. An important reference for me as a painter is the book "A Compendium Of Painting" by Jacques Blockx from 1926. Taking into account the recommendations for 19th century painters, I work on cardboard prepared according to Blockx's guidelines. I use heavily pigmented oil paints as well as paints based on my own recipe. I use only three basic colors, meticulously building a color range. I do not use black, knowing that it does not exist as such in nature and is only the sum of all colors, the level of darkness of which depends on the effect of light.
